"This is the replica of the children's ""Red Baron"" pedal bi-plane made in 1941 by the Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company from a design by renowned industrial designer Viktor Schreckengost. The plane's chrome-finish propeller spins as young pilots pedal, while its 8"" diam. metal wheels with solid rubber tires provide smooth ""flights"" over sidewalks and driveways. A sealed ball bearing drive ensures a flying ace's trousers (and scarf) won't get tangled as he pedals in search of enemy aircraft. The bi-plane's all-metal fuselage and wings are finished in gleaming red powder coating that will endure years of aerial combat, and detailed with original vintage graphics. It comes fully battle-ready with polished metal steering wheel, protective wheel covers, and a padded leatherette seat. Assembly required. Ages 3 to 7. 25"" H x 35"" W x 45"" L. (38 1/2 lbs.)"
